Although the exact origin of the strain is shrouded in mists, we can assure that White Widow is a Dutch classic. The plant was first grown in our country.

The original White Widow was created when a sativa landrace from Brazil was pollinated by an indica hybrid from southern India. Reportedly, WW was the result of years of selection and breeding in the mountains of Kerala. There, she was bred to produce resin-rich weed.

Since its original launch in the 1990s, White Widow seeds have been distributed worldwide. This has led to several variants of the original strain. Today, most reputable seed banks have a version of WW in their offerings. And RQS is no exception.

The master breeders at Royal Queen Seeds have created their own version of this classic using the genes of White Widow S1. Our variant offers a perfect balance of 50% indica and 50% sativa genes. The ratio is exactly 50/50, offering the best of both worlds.
